Job description

Day & Nite Towing is looking to add full and part time on call operators. We are a family owned and operated business located in Baldwin WI. The towing operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of towing and recovery equipment owned by Day & Nite Towing to successfully complete a assigned task.

We offer light through heavy duty towing and recovery services. This includes minor roadside service, local towing, long distance towing, off road recovery, rotator service, landoll, and more. Our operators also preform in house maintenance on our fleet including but not limited to oil changes, greasing, filter changes, lights, and other tasks assigned. Operators will also clean the trucks and buildings as needed.

Heavy lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching will be required.

We provide paid on the job training with the option of going to nationally recognized classes like WreckMaster, TRAA, ERSCA, and I-TECC to name a few.

We supply all necessary tools and equipment required to preform the job safely.

We also provide uniforms for full time staff, outdoor clothing for the seasons, and a reimbursement for other clothing / boots you may want. We also provide a phone for use while working.

A CDL is not required but would be a preferred.

Federal Medical card is required for employment.

Previous towing experience is not required. Mechanical, driving and towing experience are a plus.

Applicants must be able to pass background screening, preemployment drug screening, and insurance checks to be eligible for employment with Day & Nite Towing.

Due to insurance requirements applicants must be at least 21.

All operators work 1-2 night per week and a minimum of one weekend a month. Operators that are on call may stay at home if they live within 10 miles of our location. Operators who live outside that area have a bunk room provided when on call at our location.

Full time operators are paid hourly during their shift and when on call operators are paid commission based on operators qualifications and experience.
