Full Time CDL Tow Operator

As a representative of Star Body Works and Star 24 Hour Towing, you will provide excellent customer service and offer a safe experience to each client. You will provide a solution that will get the customer safely back on the road or towed to their preferred destination in accordance with your job responsibilities.

JOB DUTIES: * Be dispatched to different areas to retrieve stranded tractors, trailers, straight trucks, motorhomes and buses as well as regular passenger vehicles * Tow vehicles back to repair shop or other locations as desired by clients * Able to use hand tools, winches, tow lines, lifting devices and tie downs basic knowledge of operating a tow trucks * Perform physical demands of position, which include kneeling, squatting, reaching, bending, lifting and repetitive use of hands, arms and legs * Demonstrate dependability and a good work ethic * Follow all DOT safety regulations * Other duties as required 

REQUIREMENTS: * Current CDL driver's license with a valid medical card * Pass a DMV record check * Age 21 or over to drive commercial vehicles across state lines * Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random DOT drug screenings * Skill to drive a variety of manual transmission tow trucks * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

PREFERRED (not required): 1 Year of experience operating a Tow Truck (but we are willing to train the right person)

HOURS: Full-time (40 per week minimum -- 5 days on, 2 off and on call during on your 5 days on). Exact schedule to be arranged and may vary to include nights and weekends.

PAY: $48000 to $60000 per year based on experience. Medical and Dental benefits available after 90 days. PTO starts after 90 days and 401k options available after 1 year on the job.
