After a successful 15-year run as the owner of another Las Vegas towing company, Big Valley Towing was founded in 2006 by the late “Big Dann” Collins and his wife, Debbie Collins. When Dann set out on Aug. 24th, 2011 to tow a truck on Interstate 10 from Arizona to Las Vegas, he was doing what he loved. But that day would end tragically: Dann was hit by a truck carrying an oversized load, killing him instantly. Debbie Collins continues to run Big Valley Towing, and has grown the company from 2 tow trucks and 1 Landoll to over 30 trucks which include; light, medium, heavy, rotator, Landoll and service trucks providing NV and the surrounding states towing, heavy-duty hauling and roadside assistance with the help of a strong staff, because that’s what her husband would have wanted. “For me to curl up in a ball and forget about the business – he’d be kicking my butt,” she says. “I can hear him in my head saying, “That’s my girl. You can do it.” That makes Big Valley Towing a 100% woman-owned business!
